Terms & Conditions // Lesson Policies 2019-2020 school year
Payment & Fees:
Full payment is due prior to the start of the first lesson in any block, and all payments are non-refundable for any reason. Lessons are purchased in blocks of four (4).
Payments may be made via Cash, Certified Cheque, Credit Card & Debit (via Square), PayPal or e-Transfer.
Failure to honour the terms of the payment schedule as stated above may result in de-registration from weekly scheduled lesson time. All outstanding balances must be paid prior to starting a new lesson block.
Lesson Cancellations, Missed Lessons, Re-Scheduling:
If for any reason the student is unable to attend a scheduled lesson, a minimum of 24 hours advance notice is required in order to reschedule a make-up lesson. Only 1 make-up lesson is permitted per each block of 4.
If the student misses a rescheduled lesson then the lesson is considered to have been given. No additional make-up lesson(s) will be permitted and no refund will be provided.
No shows or failure to notify the teacher within 24 hours is considered a forfeited lesson. No make-up lessons and no refunds will be given.
Termination:
Lessons may be terminated at any time; however, 2 weeks advance notice in writing or via email is required.
Lessons already paid for in a block (of any size) will not be refunded. All students are encouraged to finish lessons in their block.
Liability:
Lesson policies and agreements may be modified by the Teacher at any time as long as notice of changes in writing or in email is provided to the student and their parent/guardian.
The student and/or the student’s parent /guardian agree to discharge the Instructor from any actions, causes of actions, claims, damages of any kind and every nature arising now or in the future as a result of enrolment in lessons with Teacher.
